Near Broken Arrow, OK, three teen age home invaders were shot and killed inside the home. They broke in through a glass doorthe rear of the home. At some point during the invasion, they were met by the 23-year old son of the homeowner, who was armed with an AR-15. The woman who planned the break-in drove the getaway car. She fled when she heard the shots being fired. She later went to the police and has been charged with three counts of murder.

Well……………….and THAT what happens when you, shake of my head, decide you need to someone else’s stuff more than they do. Willing to die for some electronics or jewelry? Go for it. Just KNOW, you might DIE for it.

The shooter likely will not be charged. Which is the correct decision. This appears to be justifiable deadly force.

If she planned it and it just went bad, I doubt she’d get the death penalty. If she knew there was a pretty good chance they’d meet up with an AR-15, now that changes things quite a bit. That possibilty suggests another scenario. Did she plan it so they would be shot? Did the shooter know they were coming? Do the woman and the shooter know each other? I don’t like conspiracy theorists, but I’ve seen a lot of things that ended up very differently than how they first appeared. If the facts are the way they’ve been reported, this is an easy slam dunk and the bad guys got what they deserved. In SC years ago, Susan Smith had the entire state searching for a black man who carjacked her with her two boys still in the car. Up until her car was found in the lake with the bodies of the boys inside.

Capital murder, when someone dies in the commission of a felony those who were involved in the criminal act can all be charged with capitol murder.

It sounds like drugs might have been involved. Invaders looking for cash and drugs and home boy had a AR15 protecting his drugs. Just a scenario that sounds right to me. Home invaders do not invade homes that have nothing to gain.

It was his dad’s gun, people own guns like that, just on a regular basis, no drugs needed. Well, no shit, home invaders don’t break into crack houses and the places homeless people sleep, nothing to be gained. They break into homes that have STUFF they could pawn and/or fence, TV’s, laptops, gadgets and gizmos, jewelry, etc. It isn’t the homeowner’s fault they have STUFF and the invaders do not, let’s not go there.
