This Is An Outrage

I don't know what to call this. This woman got five years...maybe...if she doesn't get early release. The woman's husband turned her in. Yay for him. Before she goes to jail, the court should allow the mother of this child fifteen minutes alone in a locked room. If she survives, she then begins her jail time.

This abnormal behavior shows a psychological problem. but she was obviously shafted by an emotional jury of parents. The people now have to spend a half mill to house this sick woman for five years in a non-treatment facility. I have no sympathy for the woman but how long can a bankrupt society support just warehousing monsters only to release bitter crazy monsters at a later time? We live in a country where this woman gets 5-years for ‘child endangerment’ but is allowed to kill an unborn child. Inconsistency is a bitch!

we’re living in what will be come to be known as the Punishment Cult. We put all our hopes in the deterrent and we apparently don’t give a f@#k when it fails or for the people it fails with.

despite those grotesque parodies of a sentence? Thanks.

Your response underscores the contention by liberals that conservatives care nothing about the children after they’re born, as long as we keep bringing them them into this world. You can have all the kids you want. No abortions. After that, we’re done with you. Let them starve, for all you care.

And THAT, as far as I can tell, has NEVER received any sort of sensible response. Thank you, deaconjim.

It couldn’t be that once a child is born there are laws in place to protect it. If there was a real concern for children them tough laws are needed, prosecute parents who neglect their duty to provide for their children in a society?

That’s what was done in this case, although the sentence was not harsh enough. You seemed to scoff at the charge of child endangerment.
