What's Going On?

It seems police are too quick to use a gun. Protect and serve seems to have become self-preservation and self-serving. In their eyes, it seems everybody is guilty of something and a threat, even when there's no evidence to support their position.

You are right. Police should be able to speak as an adult with the community, not be accusatory. It sounds as if the officer who shot Brown handled the situation extremely poorly. Anyone with an iota of common sense would know that young black adults are going to feel defensive and scared of officers even when they are merely walking down the road.

It’s unacceptable behavior by police officers.

Ironic and sad. Like politicians, many police officers have focus of their primary responsibility.
